Silver Care

Wear and enjoy your Erin Pelicano jewelry often and make sure it’s dry when storing in your jewelry box. Polish it by rinsing it in warm water, drying it with a soft cloth, then rubbing it with a silver polish cloth.
For tarnished silver, purchase our silver cleaning solution (Klean Karats) or try this simple at home cleaning recipe. Please note, this is NOT for gold pieces, silver with patinas or oxidized finishes, as this solution will remove those finishes. Watch your pieces and remove them promptly to avoid damage. What You Need

  • Aluminum Foil
  • Water
  • Baking Soda
  • A Soft Cloth
  • Glass Jar or Bowl (depending on jewelry size)

The Cleaning Process

  1. Fill the jar or bowl half full with hot water.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon baking soda to the jar (2 or more if you use a bowl) and mix to dissolve.
  3. Add a few strips of aluminum foil to the jar or cover the bottom of the bowl with a sheet of aluminum foil.
  4. Place your silver jewelry in the water and swish it around. The aluminum with the baking soda acts as a magnet, pulling off the tarnish.
  5. Allow the jewelry to set in the mixture for just a few minutes.
  6. Remove and rinse it under running water. Repeat as needed until the tarnish is gone.
  7. Dry with a soft towel.

*Please note: on international orders, your country may assess a customs tax upon delivery. This fee is required by your local government and the responsibility of the customer. We do not charge you in advance for this, it is something sellers can’t estimate, so please contact your local postal service if you would like to know this fee in advance.

We get it. Sometimes you’ve just stumbled on the perfect gift at the last minute or, well, procrastinated a bit. We will do everything we can to make your deadline if you CONTACT US BEFORE MAKING THE PURCHASE on our site. We’ll happily do our best to accommodate your request for a small rush charge. Priority shipping is available to speed up delivery.

  • International* Shipping — 2 to 4 Weeks

All orders come with a tracking number for you to follow, but once your order leaves my shop, it’s in the hands of the shipping gods (and sometimes Mother Nature). So if you run into any problems, we’re happy to help with a follow-up on our end. If the occasional postal oops happens, please be gentle. We’d love to hand deliver each item to you if we could.

We guarantee all of our jewelry. If, for any reason, you aren’t satisfied, please let us know so we may address your concerns and rectify the problem. In order to return an item, you must contact us first. The item must be returned in the original unworn condition along with the card and box, and your shipment must be sent with tracking to verify its location and date of arrival. A refund for non-personalized merchandise will be issued, minus the cost of shipping, if you return the item within seven days from the date of delivery. International orders are final.
